Akure – A local farm is at the center of a terrifying kidnapping, as gunmen seized both the owner and his manager. The kidnapping occurred on their farmland, a place that should be safe, near the Akure Airport. The victims are Olanrewaju Oyeleye, 50, and his manager. Their families are now living a nightmare.
The Amotekun Corps is working hard to find the kidnappers and rescue the victims. Commander Adetunji Adeleye said they are tracking the criminals. The kidnappers are demanding a huge ransom of ₦100 million, putting immense pressure on the families.
Fear Grips the Community
This kidnapping has created fear in Akure North. Farmers are afraid and have stopped working their fields. One farmer, James Odor, said they need more security.
