Lagos – Popular Yoruba actor Baba Tee dropped a bombshell, confessing to a brief affair with comedian Ganiyu Morufu’s wife, Dara. The revelation came during a wild Sunday night interview with socialite Esabod and a host of TikTok personalities.
Previously, he vehemently denied any involvement with Dara. He even dared Lande, Dara’s ex-husband, to produce evidence supporting his accusations. Lande had publicly claimed that Dara had cheated on him with at least 21 men from the entertainment industry, Baba Tee among them.
How the “Truth or Dare” Unfolded
He claims the encounter occurred during a particularly raucous game of “Truth or Dare.” He, Dara, and actress Marygold were involved. “Marygold went completely naked and kept daring me to do stuff with Dara,” Baba Tee recounted. “Dara kept drinking alcohol to avoid the dares I gave her. Then, Marygold dared Dara to let me have a ‘quickie’ with her, and shockingly, she agreed!”
Was it a Setup?
Baba Tee now believes he was the victim of a carefully orchestrated setup. “I won’t deny that I had a very brief sexual encounter with her,” he admitted. “But it’s only now that I realize those two were playing me! It was a plot to ruin my reputation.” Following the shocking confession, Esabod advised Baba Tee to make amends with Lande.
He took to Facebook on Monday to issue a public apology. “I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother, Lande,” he wrote. “I had no idea Dara was Lande’s wife… I fear women!”
Rumors are swirling that Marygold, who also served as Lande’s manager, may have secretly recorded the steamy encounter between Baba Tee and Dara.
