Abuja – President Bola Tinubu gave a message of hope to the people of Nigeria on Friday. He promised a better future, even with the current economic problems. He spoke with the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria (CBCN). Tinubu said he wants to lead a government that listens to all Nigerians.
Fuel Subsidy and Economic Changes
Tinubu said that removing the fuel subsidy was hard. But he said it was needed for Nigeria’s future. “We will not bankrupt our country,” he said. He wanted to make sure the country’s money was used wisely.
He pointed out some good results from his plans. More companies are now selling oil. This could help consumers. Farmers have had a good harvest, he said. Prices for some important goods have gone down. Tinubu also said that more foreign companies are investing in the country. “People are coming to invest. They are saying good things about us,” he said. This shows that other countries are interested in Nigeria again.
Security and Open Government
The President said his government is working to fix the problem of insecurity. This problem affects everyone in the country.
Tinubu thanked religious leaders for their prayers. He said he wants to include everyone. “I have no religious bias,” he said. He promised to help the country grow and to listen to all citizens of our great nation.
