Ikeja, Lagos – Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran, known as Jandor, has joined the All Progressives Congress (APC). He announced this on Monday. Jandor was the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for governor in Lagos State.
Reasons for Leaving PDP
Jandor left the PDP because of internal problems and a lack of discipline. He was unhappy with how the PDP handled some party members’ actions during the 2023 elections. He said he had worked with people who often hurt the party. He now wants to focus on the future.
Joining the APC
After talking with family, friends, and supporters, He decided to join a party that wants to win. He said that the APC leader always works for the party and State to succeed. He felt the PDP leader did not.
Jandor’s return to the APC shows his strong belief in Lagos State’s progress. He thinks working together is important. He thanked President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, for helping him rejoin the APC.
He asks his supporters to join him. He promised to keep working for a better Lagos.
