Lagos – The family of Chief Ayo Adebanjo, the late factional leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-political group Afenifere, has announced the arrangements for his burial. Chief Adebanjo passed away on February 14 at the age of 96, remembered as a steadfast advocate for democracy, true federalism, and Nigerian unity.

- Tributes & Service of Songs: Tuesday, April 30, at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
- Wake-Keeping: Thursday, May 2, at his country home in Isanya Ogbo, near Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
- Funeral Service: Friday, May 3, at St. Phillips Anglican Church, Isanya Ogbo, Ogun State.
- Thanksgiving Service: Saturday, May 4 (location likely the same church, confirmation pending).
