Nnamdi Kanu Sister-in-Law Barred by Court


Abuja – Favour Kanu, sister-in-law of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Nnamdi Kanu, has been barred from the next three court sessions. A Federal High Court in Abuja made this decision. The action followed allegations she recorded and published court proceedings online. This occurred despite a warning from Justice James Omotosho, the presiding judge. The incident involves Nnamdi Kanu sister-in-law.

When questioned, Favour Kanu stated, “I didn’t know the court was seated. The moment you cautioned me, I stopped because it was a livestream.”

Apology and Explanation in Court

Kanu Agabi, counsel for Nnamdi Kanu, appealed for forgiveness for Favour Kanu. He noted her apology. Favour Kanu admitted recording but said she stopped immediately when cautioned.
