DAMATURU — The IED explosion on Friday killed at least four people and injured 21 others. The blast occurred along the Katarko-Goniri Road in Yobe State’s Gujba Local Government Area. The victims were traveling to the Buniyadi market when their vehicle struck a suspected Improvised Explosive Device.
The deceased victims were transported home for burial. The injured are receiving medical attention at local hospitals, including the Yobe State University Teaching Hospital.
