KABO, KANO STATE – Deputy Senate President Barau I. Jibrin endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term. He joined All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters in Kabo, Kano State. The crowd backed Tinubu’s 2027 agenda, citing his work for Kano North’s development. This event marks support for a Tinubu second term.
Barau stated, “President Tinubu loves the people of Kano, the Northwest, and the North at large. He has never turned down any of our development proposals.” This strongly supports a Tinubu second term.
Kano Education Boost Highlighted
The event included commissioning the Federal Polytechnic, Kabo, now upgraded to the Federal University of Science and Technology. President Tinubu approved this at Barau’s request. “We told Mr. President that our priority was the upgrade… He simply said, ‘Bring it, I will sign it.’ And he signed it,” Barau said. He added Tinubu also approved another Federal Polytechnic in Kabo. Barau asked, “What greater love can a leader show to his people than investing in their future through education?” These projects are shown as key reasons for a Tinubu second term.
Tinubu Praised for Regional Vision
Barau praised Tinubu’s focus on Northwest education and infrastructure. He called project approvals proof of responsive leadership. “Every request we have taken to him, he has approved,” Barau noted. He also commended Tinubu for reversing a decision on Yusuf Maitama Sule University.
Minister of State for Housing, Alhaji Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, agreed. He said, “The Tinubu administration is committed to inclusive development and expanding educational access across all geopolitical zones.” The event drew dignitaries and signaled new federal support for Kano State’s higher learning, backing a Tinubu second term.
