Port Harcourt – A Rivers State High Court stopped the police from arresting Edison Ehie. Ehie is the suspended Chief of Staff to suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara. This court order prevents the Edison Ehie arrest.

The court order prohibits police and other security agencies from inviting, demanding, harassing, intimidating, arresting, or detaining Ehie. The court allowed Ehie to serve legal documents on the defendants using substituted means, like courier service. Justice Igwe adjourned the main case until April 30, 2025.
