ABUJA – Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara met with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike at Wike’s residence in Abuja. Sources confirmed the Fubara Wike meeting, stating it was an effort towards reconciliation following their political dispute. Governor Fubara attended the meeting with Governors Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State and Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State, and former Ogun Governor Olusegun Osoba.

This meeting occurred after Governor Fubara met President Bola Tinubu in London regarding the Rivers State political crisis. The conflict between Fubara and Wike had previously caused significant disruption, with Wike stating he wanted Fubara removed from office. The recent Fubara Wike meeting indicates ongoing efforts to resolve their differences.
