Abuja – Nigeria’s Ministry of Defence confirmed plans for stronger Nigeria Israel military cooperation. Permanent Secretary Ambassador Gabriel Aduda met Israeli Ambassador Michael Freeman to discuss defence ties, security plans, and military training.

Officials discussed joint operations, sharing knowledge, and modernizing defence links. Ambassador Aduda mentioned a potential new bilateral defence agreement. This pact would focus on technical help for Nigeria’s defence industry development. “The ministry will engage in strategic initiatives to replicate successful Israeli military cooperation frameworks in Nigeria,” Aduda said, aiming to improve national defence through Nigeria Israel military cooperation.
Improving Defence Partnership
Ambassador Freeman thanked Aduda for the meeting and called the partnership important for defence solutions. He invited Nigerian defence officials to visit Israel to strengthen ties. This meeting shows increased military cooperation aimed at improving national security for both countries.
