Lagos – A Nigerian traveller named Alma Asinobi is about to embark on an incredible journey. She plans to visit all seven continents in record time!
Starting March 15, 2025, Asinobi will begin her adventure in Australia and finish in Nigeria. The current record for the fastest continental travel is held by two Indian adventurers. They completed their trip in just over three days.
A Passport Privilege Mission
But this isn’t just about breaking records. Asinobi is using her Nigerian passport to highlight an important issue: passport privilege. She wants to show the world the challenges that Africans face when it comes to international travel.
“I want to shine a light on the unequal treatment we receive due to our passports,” Asinobi explained. “I hope to inspire others to see the world, despite these limitations.”
Inspiring Global Adventures
Asinobi’s journey is more than a race against the clock. It’s a statement. She’s pushing the limits of a less powerful passport to prove what’s possible. It’s a story of adventure and a call for change.
