Ogun State Hajj 2025: First Pilgrims Depart

Lagos – The Ogun State Hajj 2025 began today. 428 intending pilgrims from Ogun State departed for the Hajj. They left from Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. Their destination is Medina, Saudi Arabia. This departure begins their religious observance.

Ogun State Amirul Hajj, Samsudeen Apelogun, addressed the pilgrims before they departed. He told them to be disciplined and act with integrity in Saudi Arabia.

Following Rules for Ogun State Hajj 2025

Mr. Apelogun said pilgrims must follow instructions from Muslim welfare officials. This ensures a smooth pilgrimage. He stated, “You are ambassadors of Islam.”

He also said, “Do not carry prohibited items. Do not do things that harm Nigeria’s reputation. Follow the travel cash limit regulations.” These rules are important for everyone taking part in the Hajj 2025.

Hopes for the Journey

The Amirul Hajj wished the pilgrims well. He said, “May your journey be blessed. May you return with spiritual fulfillment and a sense of accomplishment.” The Hajj experience is expected to deepen their faith. Pilgrims expect to return with renewed purpose.
