ABUJA – The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has announced a planned maintenance shutdown for the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC). This important Port Harcourt Refinery shutdown started today. The company stated this step will improve the refinery’s future performance.
Olufemi O. Soneye, NNPC Ltd’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, made the announcement. “The scheduled maintenance and sustainability assessment will commence today,” Soneye said. This action is a key part of the NNPC refinery upgrade plan for one of Nigeria’s recently revived state-owned plants. The main goal is to increase PHRC operational efficiency.
