London – President Bola Tinubu is actively managing Nigerian affairs from overseas, the Presidency stated Thursday. Despite being abroad nearly two weeks, currently in London, Tinubu remains fully engaged through consistent communication with key government officials.
Special Adviser Bayo Onanuga issued the statement confirming leadership continuity. He stressed that Tinubu governs from abroad effectively, ensuring government operations continue without disruption. The President’s current stay follows a trip to Paris and is within a previously announced timeframe.
Directives Issued Despite Distance
The President’s active involvement continues, according to Onanuga. Tinubu recently directed security chiefs to address new threats within Nigeria. This action shows Tinubu governs from abroad, maintaining control over national security even while physically absent.
Return Expected After Easter
The Presidency assured Nigerians that governance remains stable. President Tinubu is expected back in Abuja after the Easter holidays. The statement confirms that Tinubu governs from abroad seamlessly during this period.
