New Development Commissions

Lado stated the new Development Commissions will drive industrial expansion. They will also create jobs and improve infrastructure. “Signing the South-West and South-South Development Commissions bills confirms the President supports regional empowerment and economic expansion,” Lado said. He noted these actions follow similar  commissions established for other regions. This shows a clear plan for nationwide progress.

Strengthening Anti-Doping Rules

President Tinubu also signed the Nigeria Anti-Doping Bill, 2025. Lado explained this law aligns Nigeria with international anti-doping standards. It protects the integrity of Nigerian athletes. “Adopting the UNESCO International Convention Against Doping in Sports protects Nigerian sports and athletes.
