Two factory workers were tracked to Jos and arrested for the January 12 stabbing and robbery.

Abeokuta, Ogun State – The Ogun State Police Command has arrested two suspects for the murder of a Chinese national, Chen Wang. The victim was found stabbed to death in his office on January 12, 2025.

The Attack and Robbery

Police stated that the suspects, Yunusa Abdullahi and Peace Keno Danlami, were factory workers who knew the victim. They allegedly disabled the company’s security system, entered Wang’s office, and fatally stabbed him.

After the attack, they stole keys to Wang’s home, which they then burglarized for cash before fleeing. “A distress call was made to the Ogun State Police Command regarding the discovery of Mr. Wang’s lifeless body,” said Force Public Relations Officer Olumuyiwa Adejobi. “Preliminary findings revealed that the deceased had suffered fatal stab wounds to the chest.”

An investigation by the Ogun Police and the Nigeria Police Technical Intelligence Unit traced the suspects to Jos, Plateau State. Police located Abdullahi, 25, and Danlami, 20, hiding under false names after several weeks of surveillance.

“The swift deployment of digital forensics, biometric analysis, and human intelligence by the Nigeria Police played a decisive role in bringing the perpetrators to justice,” noted CSP Omolola Odutola.
