BREMEN – Werder Bremen manager Ole Werner has expressed strong support for defender Felix Agu, following his exciting call-up to the Nigeria Super Eagles. Agu, who previously represented Germany at youth levels, recently received clearance to play for Nigeria, opening a new chapter in his career.

Werner praised Agu’s recent form for Werder Bremen. “Felix has developed well and had a brilliant season,” the coach stated. “After a short injury break, he came back strongly and was a key part of our final spurt because he was in top form.” This strong endorsement from his club coach signals Agu’s readiness for the international stage.
