Woman Bites Her Lover’s Manhood in Rivers: Arrest Made

PORT HARCOURT, RIVERS STATE – A distressing incident involving a woman who bites her lover’s manhood in Rivers State led to an arrest in Diobu on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Gift, a 43-year-old woman, was taken into custody by officers from the Nkpolu Police Division. The alleged attack happened on Bishop Okoye Street, Mile 3 Diobu, Port Harcourt, and is now a prominent Rivers State crime investigation.

The conflict reportedly began when Gift’s lover, Mr. Sunday, demanded sex. Gift refused. I couldn’t take it anymore,” Gift reportedly told the neighbor.

An eyewitness, who requested anonymity, stated that the situation turned violent when Mr. Sunday allegedly began to hit Gift after she refused sex. In what appears to be a shocking act of retaliation, Gift then allegedly grabbed Mr. Sunday’s manhood and bit off the cap. This alleged incident where a woman bites her lover’s manhood in Rivers State quickly drew the attention of neighbors.

“We heard a loud scream and rushed to see what was happening,” the source recounted. “That’s when we saw blood and Sunday on the ground.”

The commotion brought many residents to the scene. Reports indicate that an angry mob attempted to attack Gift. However, police officers arrived swiftly, rescued her from the crowd, and then arrested her.

Police Confirm Arrest, Investigation Active

Mr. Sunday required immediate and serious medical attention. He was quickly transported to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.

The Rivers State Police Command has officially confirmed the incident and Gift’s arrest. The Command’s spokesperson, Superintendent Grace Iringe-Koko, addressed journalists regarding the case.

“Yes, I can confirm the incident. The woman (suspect) aged 43 years has been arrested. Investigation is ongoing,” Superintendent Iringe-Koko stated.

Police have assured the public that a thorough investigation will be conducted to understand all circumstances that led to the attack where a woman bites her lover’s manhood in Rivers State.
